Senior Mobile SDK Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Albania.

📋 Description

• Create and develop a dependable SDK for seamless integration into Unity-based mobile games and applications.

• Construct and oversee native SDK components for both iOS and Android, along with the Unity integration layer.

• Establish SDK architecture, public APIs, integration patterns, and facilitate communication between Unity and native mobile components.

• Manage the entire SDK lifecycle from initial design and implementation to packaging, release, monitoring, and continuous support.

• Guarantee compatibility across various Unity versions, iOS and Android versions, devices, and customer environments.

• Collaborate with the Mobile Lead and fellow engineers on technical decisions and implementation strategies.

• Actively identify technical risks and propose practical solutions with minimal supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software development experience.

• Extensive hands-on experience in developing mobile SDKs for use within Unity applications.

• More than 3 years of relevant experience in Unity SDK development.

• At least 2 years of experience in native mobile development.

• Strong comprehension of Unity and the integration between Unity/C# and native mobile code.

• Professional experience in native Android development utilizing Kotlin.

• Professional experience in native iOS development using Swift.

• Knowledge of mobile application lifecycles, performance considerations, threading, and debugging processes.

• Previous experience in leading or having significant ownership of an SDK initiative is highly preferred.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate technical decisions.

• A high degree of ownership, intrinsic motivation, and the capability to work independently.
