Senior Mobile Developer – iOS, Android

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Engage in the creation of payment solutions for both Android and iOS platforms.

• Enhance and maintain current solutions.

• Foster effective communication within an Agile software development team.

• Develop automated unit tests to ensure code accuracy.

• Conduct testing at every level, including unit, integration, and acceptance testing.

• Design and implement an iOS Tap to Pay solution utilizing Apple’s Tap to Pay on iPhone APIs.

• Integrate NFC-based contactless payment processes with payment processor SDKs on iOS.

• Guarantee PCI DSS compliance and adhere to Apple’s security standards for Tap to Pay.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound understanding of mobile software development, with at least five years of programming experience in this domain.

• Outstanding Android development capabilities using Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform.

• Strong iOS development expertise with Swift and SwiftUI.

• Practical experience with Apple’s Tap to Pay on iPhone framework and ProximityReader API.

• Familiarity with NFC, EMV, and contactless payment standards on iOS.

• Understanding of Apple entitlements and App Store review criteria for payment applications.

• Solid grasp of software engineering best practices, including performance and security considerations.

• Experience with Scrum/Agile software development methodologies.

• Proficient in development tools and debugging strategies.

• Familiarity with Git and Atlassian tools.

• Working knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and tools.

• Experience with Xcode, iOS simulators, and TestFlight for testing payment applications is a plus.

• Experience in the POS/payments sector is advantageous, especially in developing applications for PAX payment terminals.

• Experience with AWS is a bonus.
