Senior Microsoft Dynamics GP Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Act as a functional authority and trusted consultant for Microsoft Dynamics GP clients across diverse sectors.

• Examine business needs and convert them into effective Dynamics GP solutions.

• Facilitate solution design workshops, conduct business process evaluations, and spearhead system optimization projects.

• Provide assistance with system upgrades, enhancements, module implementations, and process improvement initiatives.

• Suggest best practices to enhance operational efficiency, ensure reporting accuracy, and maintain data integrity.

• Foster and uphold robust client relationships.

• Offer advanced functional support for various Dynamics GP modules, including Financial Management, Distribution, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales Order Processing, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Payroll, and Field Service.

• Diagnose intricate application, transactional, and configuration challenges.

• Address data inconsistencies, posting mistakes, reconciliation problems, workflow issues, and integration challenges.

• Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

• Collaborate with technical consultants and developers to troubleshoot system issues.

• Assess client processes and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.

• Configure Dynamics GP to accommodate changing business requirements.

• Facilitate workflow automation, approval processes, and operational improvements.

• Enhance reporting capabilities, data quality, and system adoption rates.

• Document business processes and provide recommendations for future states.

• Support and address issues related to third-party applications, such as SalesPad and other ISV solutions.

• Troubleshoot integrations between Dynamics GP and external business systems.

• Guide clients on configuration choices, process implications, and best practices.

• Liaise with software vendors and client stakeholders to resolve issues and implement enhancements.

• Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.

• Create and maintain functional documentation, process guides, and knowledge base articles.

• Record solutions, root causes, and corrective actions taken.

• Share functional expertise with fellow consultants.

• Identify recurring problems and propose long-term corrective solutions.

• Extensive functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities with an emphasis on root cause analysis and data integrity.

• Proficiency in understanding and enhancing business processes through technological solutions.

• Excellent skills in client relationship management and consulting.

• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and client engagements at the same time.

• Experience in a managed services, consulting, or support environment.

• Solid documentation and organizational abilities.

• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Candidates must reside in a LATAM country.

• Candidates must possess legal authorization to work in their country of residence.

• Candidates must be available to work during EST or CST business hours.

• Bilingual in English and French is preferred.

• Experience with SmartConnect and Dynamics GP integrations is a plus.

• Familiarity with SQL Server and Dynamics GP reporting tools is desirable.

• Previous experience in a Microsoft partner or consulting environment is advantageous.

• Qualified candidates are required to complete a Predictive Index survey as part of the application process.
