Senior Microsoft Dynamics GP Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Act as a functional expert and trusted consultant for clients utilizing Microsoft Dynamics GP across various industries.

• Assess business needs and convert them into effective Dynamics GP solutions.

• Facilitate solution design discussions, conduct business process evaluations, and lead system optimization efforts.

• Aid in system enhancements, upgrades, module implementations, and process improvements.

• Propose best practices to enhance operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and data integrity.

• Develop and nurture robust relationships with clients.

• Offer advanced functional support for Dynamics GP modules such as Financial Management, Distribution, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales Order Processing, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Payroll, and Field Service.

• Resolve intricate application, transactional, and configuration challenges.

• Investigate and rectify data inconsistencies, posting errors, reconciliation problems, workflow issues, and integration-related challenges.

• Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

• Collaborate with technical consultants, developers, software vendors, and client stakeholders to address issues and implement improvements.

• Analyze client processes to uncover opportunities for enhancement.

• Configure Dynamics GP to meet changing business needs.

• Facilitate workflow automation, approval procedures, and operational efficiencies.

• Enhance reporting capabilities, data quality, and user adoption of the system.

• Document business processes and recommendations for future states.

• Provide support and troubleshooting for SalesPad and other third-party ISV applications integrated with Dynamics GP.

• Assist in troubleshooting integrations between Dynamics GP and external business systems.

• Conduct client user training and knowledge-transfer sessions.

• Create and maintain functional documentation, process guides, and knowledge-base articles.

• Document solutions, root causes, and suggested corrective actions.

• Offer functional guidance and share knowledge with fellow consultants.

• Identify recurring issues and propose long-term corrective actions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive functional understanding of Microsoft Dynamics GP.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with an emphasis on root cause analysis and data integrity.

• Capability to comprehend and enhance business processes through technology solutions.

• Excellent client relationship management and consulting abilities.

• Proficient verbal, written, and presentation skills.

• Capacity to handle multiple priorities and client engagements concurrently.

• Experience in a managed services, consulting, or support setting.

• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Bilingual in English and French.

• Experience with SmartConnect and Dynamics GP integrations.

• Familiarity with SQL Server and Dynamics GP reporting tools.

• Prior experience in a Microsoft partner or consulting environment.

• Candidates must be available to work during EST or CST business hours.

• Candidates must reside in a LATAM country.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in their country of residence.

• Qualified candidates will be requested to complete a Predictive Index survey as part of the application procedure.
