Consultant, Dealership Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Organize and oversee 20 Group meetings along with onsite operations.

• Facilitate and manage a minimum of seven 20 Groups or similar assignments.

• Develop and prepare comprehensive meeting agendas in advance.

• Lead discussions and present on group composites.

• Utilize the NADA online composite as a management resource.

• Employ the NADA digital analytics composite as a management tool.

• Serve as the onsite meeting supervisor, ensuring compliance with contracts.

• Schedule and conduct in-dealership consultations to enhance dealer processes and profitability.

• Improve presentation techniques through ongoing training in skill enhancement.

• Communicate NADA initiatives to members of the group.

• Maintain consistent communication with group members between in-person meetings.

• Raise awareness about non-meeting consultant services available for dealers.

• Preserve group membership levels through active prospecting and recruitment.

• Engage and communicate with various departments and leadership within Dealership Operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Business Administration, Automotive Management, Sales, or a related discipline) or an equivalent amount of relevant training or experience is required.

• At least 8 years of leadership experience in a retail automotive dealership, in roles such as General Manager, Dealer Principal, Dealer Operator, Executive Manager, Operations Manager, Owner, COO, CEO, or other senior leadership positions is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilitating, consulting, or training is required.

• A robust background in business and financial management is essential.

• Experience as a public speaker is preferred.

• Significant travel and a home-based office are necessary to fulfill the role's functions.

• Familiarity with digital retail tools is preferred.

• Submission of a resume is required.

• A written chronology of automotive industry experience, limited to 3 pages, detailing job responsibilities, accomplishments, and reasons for leaving is required.
