Senior Microsoft Dynamics GP Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Act as a functional expert and trusted advisor for clients utilizing Microsoft Dynamics GP across various industries.

• Assess business needs and convert them into effective Dynamics GP solutions.

• Facilitate solution design sessions, conduct business process reviews, and lead system optimization efforts.

• Support system enhancements, upgrades, module implementations, and process improvements.

• Suggest best practices to enhance operational efficiency, improve reporting accuracy, and ensure data integrity.

• Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients.

• Provide advanced functional support for Dynamics GP modules, including Financial Management, Distribution, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales Order Processing, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Payroll, and Field Service.

• Diagnose and resolve complex application, transactional, and configuration issues.

• Investigate and rectify data discrepancies, posting errors, reconciliation challenges, workflow issues, and integration concerns.

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes.

• Collaborate with technical consultants and developers to address system issues.

• Evaluate client processes and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.

• Configure Dynamics GP to meet changing business requirements.

• Facilitate workflow automation, approval processes, and enhance operational efficiencies.

• Enhance reporting capabilities, data quality, and system adoption.

• Document business processes and provide recommendations for future states.

• Offer support and troubleshoot SalesPad and other third-party applications integrated with Dynamics GP.

• Assist in troubleshooting integration issues between Dynamics GP and external business systems.

• Advise clients on configuration options, process implications, and best practices.

• Collaborate with software vendors and client stakeholders to resolve issues and implement enhancements.

• Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.

• Create and maintain functional documentation, process guides, and knowledge base articles.

• Document solutions, root causes, and corrective actions.

• Provide functional guidance and share knowledge with fellow consultants.

• Identify recurring issues and propose long-term corrective strategies.

• Extensive functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, emphasizing root cause analysis and data integrity.

• Capability to understand and enhance business processes through technological solutions.

• Exceptional client relationship management and consulting skills.

• Strong verbal, written, and presentation capabilities.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and client engagements simultaneously.

• Experience in a managed services, consulting, or support environment.

• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Candidates must be available to work during EST or CST business hours.

• Candidates must reside in a LATAM country and be legally authorized to work in their country of residence.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French.

• Experience with SmartConnect and Dynamics GP integrations.

• Familiarity with SQL Server and Dynamics GP reporting tools.

• Previous experience in a Microsoft partner or consulting environment.

• Qualified candidates will be required to complete a Predictive Index survey as part of the application process.
