Senior Microsoft Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire solution lifecycle using an outcome-focused methodology.

• Identify business challenges and user requirements.

• Evaluate data ownership, integrity, migration, and integration needs.

• Align business requirements with Microsoft 365 functionalities.

• Analyze potential solutions based on ease of use, sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and governance.

• Propose suitable technology patterns with justifications and risk assessments.

• Design, test, and implement approved solutions utilizing reusable and scalable components.

• Create comprehensive documentation.

• Deliver practical knowledge transfer for long-term in-house support.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to choose Microsoft technologies.

• Streamline business processes and enhance data access and reporting capabilities.

• Assist in modernizing regulatory functions.

• Contribute to scalable solutions, reusable components, and production deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience within the last 15 years in the Microsoft ecosystem.

• Experience managing the full Solution Lifecycle using an outcome-first approach.

• Certification: PL-400 Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate or PL-600 Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.

• 5 years of experience within the last 10 years developing Microsoft Planner functionality via the Planner API.

• 5 years of experience within the last 10 years creating Microsoft SharePoint solutions using the Microsoft Graph API, covering Drive, List, and Site functions.

• 5 years of experience within the last 10 years managing Microsoft Teams through the Microsoft Graph API.

• 5 years of experience within the last 10 years developing Power Automate cloud flows utilizing both standard and custom Microsoft connectors.

• 5 years of experience within the last 10 years integrating solutions with Microsoft Azure Active Directory single sign-on.

• 5 years of experience within the last 10 years designing Microsoft Teams Canvas Power Apps and creating custom components with the Power Apps Component Framework.

• 5 years of experience within the last 10 years producing Power BI reports and dashboards.

• 5 years of experience within the last 10 years connecting solutions with both new and existing enterprise or Common Dataverse data.

• 5 years of experience within the last 10 years using Visual Studio with C#, .NET, and Python.

• 5 years of experience within the last 10 years utilizing Visual Studio Code with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.

• Must complete a Government of Canada security screening process prior to starting work.

• Capability to work remotely with effective communication and team coordination.
