This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Design, develop, and manage production software systems.
• Take ownership of major technical projects from architecture through to deployment.
• Create scalable services, APIs, infrastructure, and internal tools.
• Address intricate challenges related to performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define technical requirements.
• Engage in architectural decisions and participate in technical design reviews.
• Enhance engineering quality, observability, and operational practices.
• Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to setting engineering standards.
• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficient programming skills in Python, Go, TypeScript, Rust, Java, or similar languages.
• Strong understanding of system design and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Experience in operating production systems.
• Demonstrated ownership and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English is mandatory.
• Preferred experience in AI/ML infrastructure.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms is a plus.
• Background in high-scale distributed systems is advantageous.
• Experience in startup or scale-up environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with GPU or data-intensive systems is a plus.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States or be willing to obtain employer sponsorship as applicable.
