Senior Medical Science Liaison – North Texas

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist in achieving the company's commercial and educational goals in the role of Medical Science Liaison or Senior Medical Science Liaison.

• Serve as a regional expert and support for the sales and commercial teams regarding Tempus oncology assays.

• Facilitate the exchange of clinical, scientific, and technical information with regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and oncology practitioners.

• Provide education to healthcare providers, including KOLs, community physicians, medical directors, and other healthcare professionals (HCPs), on Tempus oncology offerings.

• Conduct in-person or virtual presentations and proactively and reactively communicate scientific data.

• Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to deliver scientific education for internal stakeholders.

• Participate in conferences and significant meetings.

• Create detailed meeting synopses and summaries of impactful abstracts, posters, and oral presentations.

• Keep internal stakeholders informed about pertinent medical and scientific advancements.

• Actively share market intelligence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid clinical and scientific expertise in oncology and genomic testing.

• Basic knowledge of molecular oncology and associated patient management algorithms.

• Established relationships with KOLs in the field of oncology.

• Familiarity with genomic laboratory-developed testing (LDT).

• Understanding of CLIA-88’, CAP, and the Sunshine Act (2013).

• Proficient public speaking skills with the ability to effectively convey scientific topics and concepts.

• Outstanding interpersonal communication abilities.

• Strong management skills, both inter- and intradepartmentally.

• Capable of educating and training others.

• Self-motivated with a sense of ownership.

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver results.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• An advanced scientific or medical degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MSN, BSN) is required.

• A basic understanding of oncology is essential.

• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience as an MSL in diagnostics, biotech, or pharmaceutical sectors.
