Senior Mechanical Engineer, LNG

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assess and analyze specifications and data sheets for LNG Tanks.

• Oversee the design and evaluation of LNG Tanks.

• Examine LNG Tank deliverables, including data sheets, specifications, and material requisitions.

• Collaborate with other technical personnel on assigned tasks.

• Review design documents from equipment manufacturers and subcontractors, providing feedback and recommendations.

• Engage in the review and verification of designs, drawings, and data prepared by engineers, specialists, or suppliers.

• Implement engineering department procedures in various projects.

• Adhere to design standards and guidelines for LNG Storage Tanks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid mechanical engineering degree from an accredited institution.

• Professional Engineer registration.

• 10 to 15 years of applicable experience in LNG Storage Tank design.

• Experience with LNG project pressure equipment or within an operational LNG facility is advantageous.

• Familiarity with industry and regulatory codes and standards such as CSA Z276, ASME, ASTM, API 620/625, etc.

• Successful completion of necessary pre-employment checks, which may include Criminal Background/Police Information check, Drug & Alcohol test, Reference checks, and submission of Provincial Driver’s Abstract.
