This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Evaluate LNG Tank deliverables including data sheets, specifications, and material requisitions.
• Oversee the design and assessment of LNG Tanks.
• Collaborate with other technical staff on assigned projects.
• Review design documents from equipment manufacturers or subcontractors, providing comments and recommendations.
• Engage in the review and verification of designs, drawings, and data produced by engineers, specialists, or suppliers.
• Implement engineering department procedures throughout projects.
• Utilize design standards and guidelines relevant to LNG Storage Tanks.
• Promote a workplace culture founded on openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and overall satisfaction.
• An accredited mechanical engineering degree from a recognized university.
• Professional Engineer registration is required.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in LNG Storage Tank design.
• Experience with LNG project pressure equipment or within an operational LNG plant is preferred.
• Familiarity with industry and regulatory codes and standards like CSA Z276, ASME, ASTM, API 620/625, etc.
• Successful completion of necessary pre-employment checks, which may include a Criminal Background/Police Information check, Drug & Alcohol test, Reference checks, and submission of Provincial Driver’s Abstract.
• Must be open to working from Bantrel offices in Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, or Toronto, or remotely within Canada.
