Senior Mechanical Engineer, LNG

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Evaluate LNG Tank deliverables including data sheets, specifications, and material requisitions.

• Direct LNG Tank design and assessment activities.

• Collaborate with other technical team members on assigned tasks.

• Assess design documents from equipment manufacturers or subcontractors, providing feedback and suggestions.

• Engage in the review and verification of designs, drawings, and data created by other engineers, specialists, or suppliers.

• Implement engineering department protocols in project execution.

• Utilize design standards and guidelines relevant to LNG Storage Tanks.

• Promote a work culture centered on transparency, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and job satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• A recognized degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.

• Valid registration as a Professional Engineer.

• Between 10 to 15 years of pertinent experience in LNG Storage Tank design.

• Experience with LNG project pressure equipment or working in an operational LNG facility is advantageous.

• Familiarity with industry and regulatory codes and standards including CSA Z276, ASME, ASTM, API 620/625.

• Successful completion of necessary pre-employment checks may be required, such as Criminal Background/Police Information check, Drug & Alcohol screening, Reference checks, and Provincial Driver’s Abstract.

• Capability to work from Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Toronto, or remotely anywhere in Canada.
