Senior Marketing Specialist, Life Sciences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create and implement campaigns aimed at generating qualified marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipelines to enhance JoVE's presence in the Biopharma sector.

• Analyze industry trends, customer demands, competitive landscape, and new opportunities to shape the go-to-market strategy.

• Discover new channels and avenues for JoVE to connect with and engage Biopharma audiences.

• Design account-based campaigns targeting strategic accounts and key segments.

• Establish a Biopharma content calendar that aligns with customer requirements, industry trends, and business priorities.

• Pinpoint opportunities for JoVE leaders, customers, and partners to engage in speaking events and industry discussions.

• Assess campaign effectiveness and consistently test and refine programs based on performance metrics.

• Collaborate across departments with Biopharma Sales teams on go-to-market strategies, demand generation, content creation, customer advocacy, industry interaction, and sales support.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• A minimum of 3 years experience in demand generation, product marketing, field marketing, or a similar commercial role.

• Experience in or marketing to the Biopharma, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, or related scientific sectors is highly preferred.

• Proven track record of achieving lead generation and marketing-influenced pipeline outcomes.

• Excellent written communication and storytelling abilities, with a knack for simplifying complex concepts into clear and engaging messages.

• Proficient in using data and KPIs to assess performance and guide decision-making.

• An innovative and proactive mindset—able to identify opportunities, create actionable plans, execute them, evaluate outcomes, and enhance strategies.
