This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Drive the advancement and implementation of H&R Block's brand strategy, positioning, and platform.
• Contribute to the formulation of messaging frameworks, strategic narratives, and communication priorities.
• Set up clear measurement frameworks for assessing brand health and activation performance.
• Oversee the creation of enterprise brand activations, major programs, partnerships, sponsorships, and cultural initiatives, integrating paid, earned, and owned efforts.
• Assist in the development of thought leadership, community initiatives, and cause-related programs.
• Lead the systems, processes, tools, and governance that facilitate effective brand management and consistency across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with Internal Communications, HR, and enterprise leaders to weave the H&R Block brand into the associate experience.
• Mentor, develop, and motivate a high-performing team.
• Cultivate a culture of strategic thinking, collaboration, curiosity, and accountability.
• Work alongside GTM, Content, Creative, Communications, Media, Product, Lifecycle, Customer Experience, Research, and other teams to translate brand strategy into cohesive programs and measurable business outcomes.
• Manage a team responsible for brand activations, strategic partnerships, brand governance, and operational excellence.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of experience in brand marketing, experiential marketing, partnerships, sponsorships, program management, or related areas.
• Proven track record in leading complex, cross-functional marketing programs from strategy to execution.
• Strong grasp of brand strategy, customer engagement, and integrated marketing principles.
• Experience in managing agencies, vendors, partnerships, and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional project management and organizational abilities, with a capability to handle multiple initiatives at once.
• Proficiency in developing activation plans, managing budgets, and evaluating program performance.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Experience using customer insights and performance data to guide strategy and decision-making.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in guiding teams, projects, and cross-functional workstreams.
• Experience in leading and nurturing talent.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect insights to actions.
• Familiarity with brand tracking, audience segmentation, customer insights, and measurement frameworks.
• A Master's of Business Administration is preferred.
• Experience in financial services, retail, hospitality, or other consumer-focused sectors is preferred.
• Familiarity with highly regulated industries and navigating legal and compliance requirements is preferred.
• Experience in a large matrixed marketing organization is preferred.
• Experience with franchised, multi-unit retail, financial services, and/or seasonal businesses is preferred.
