This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement integrated marketing strategies for product lines to enhance sales for both front-list and backlist Bible projects and products.
• Supervise both online and offline marketing efforts and publicity, covering brand positioning and messaging, metadata and keyword creation, media planning and purchasing, email, social media, live events, partnerships, retail marketing, and content marketing.
• Oversee additional marketing personnel, including conducting performance evaluations and offering coaching.
• Recruit and manage external marketing partners and vendors.
• Evaluate marketing campaigns and suggest modifications and key insights based on performance.
• Provide metadata and keywords for new releases and refresh backlist metadata when necessary.
• Work together with product development on creative direction, packaging, brand messaging, and product alterations.
• Present marketing strategies and updates to sales teams, internal stakeholders, authors/proprietors, retailers, and marketing partners.
• Manage the development of budgets and expense forecasts.
• Attend relevant trade shows and conferences as needed.
• Assist with various marketing-related tasks as assigned.
• Oversee and enhance brands, products, and translation lines.
• Act as a liaison between marketing and sales.
• Track ROI and contribute to the overall initiatives of the marketing team.
• A minimum of 8 years of highly complex marketing and/or sales experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in people management.
• Proven experience leading a business unit or function within an organization.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and executing product launches and integrated campaigns across digital and traditional marketing channels.
• Practical experience with email marketing, social media, and digital advertising strategy and execution.
• Familiarity with marketing management tools and digital analytics platforms.
• Experience in managing and directing external vendors.
• Proficient in analyzing marketing outcomes and ROI.
• Knowledge of the Spanish-speaking Christian market in the U.S. and Latin America, encompassing theological perspectives and/or denominational distinctions.
• Understanding of Biblical doctrine.
• Bachelor's degree in Bible Theology/Studies or Christian Ministry preferred; degrees in marketing, business, or related fields will also be considered.
• Comprehension of the Christian Bible market and Bible translations.
• Preferred knowledge of the publishing industry or other consumer content-related sectors.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in metrics-based decision-making.
• Significant familiarity with the structure and content of the Bible.
• Proven ability to cultivate and maintain robust professional relationships with colleagues and vendors.
• Experience in managing multiple competing priorities, responsibilities, or projects.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a focus on detail.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
• Capability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Skillful in setting priorities and resolving problems.
• Strong computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office.
• Fully bilingual; adept at reading, writing, and presenting in both Spanish and English.
