Senior Manager – Workday Consulting, SCM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Function in a client-facing, hands-on, and versatile capacity that integrates project and engagement management, team leadership, and significant interaction with clients at both tactical and strategic levels.

• Engage in client-facing activities throughout all phases of projects, from pursuit to delivery.

• Oversee projects and perform comprehensive data analysis to execute impactful recommendations.

• Contribute to the overall development of the practice.

• Mentor Coachees as assigned.

• Execute general project and organizational administrative responsibilities.

• Lead and design implementations of Workday Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Strategic Sourcing.

• Collaborate with business users to analyze requirements, create solutions, draft functional specifications, perform tests, and resolve issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 8 years of experience in analyzing requirements, devising solutions, drafting functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with business users.

• Must possess experience in leading and architecting Workday Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Strategic Sourcing implementations.

• Operational knowledge in contracting, encompassing contract authoring, negotiation workflows, approvals, renewals, and compliance.

• Experience in leading and architecting Workday Procurement, Supplier Accounts, and Inventory is preferred.

• Certification in Workday Financials/Supply Chain or practical experience with the application.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering.

• At least 5 years of experience managing project workstreams and client engagements with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior consultants and enhance team capabilities within a practice.

• Capacity to creatively solve complex problems with strong critical thinking skills.

• Excellent analytical abilities, functional or technical knowledge, and hands-on experience with cloud-based enterprise solutions.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating results, risks, and issues to both internal teams and client leaders.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% as necessary to collaborate with clients or other internal project teams.
