This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide continuous support, resources, and guidance to the local and district teams, as well as community Resident Engagement associates in the assigned region through meetings, conference calls, site visits, and personalized coaching.

• Assist in implementing corporate initiatives such as resident program standards, budgets, policies, resources, guidelines, and training manuals.

• Execute, communicate, and advocate for a person-centered engagement strategy based on residents' interests within Brookdale-owned and managed communities.

• Manage and support the Brookdale engagement mentor program while offering professional development opportunities to designated mentors.

• Collaborate with District team members and community leadership to identify and achieve business objectives.

• Uphold Brookdale's resident engagement philosophies, standards, and goals within the designated region.

• Oversee the financial aspects of the Resident Engagement budget in relation to community performance metrics.

• Liaise with regional, district, and community leadership on standards compliance, recommendations, and developmental plans.

• Offer Resident Engagement support, consultation, and follow-up to community Executive Directors, which includes site visits and interviewing candidates for resident program positions.

• Document and present site visit findings to district and community leaders, including action plans and necessary next steps.

• Welcome and assist new Resident Engagement associates, connecting them with assigned mentors for onboarding and continuous education.

• Implement innovative company initiatives, pilots, programs, and events within communities in the assigned area.

• Organize and lead monthly regional EngagementPlus planning calls to address staff training, support requirements, programming concepts, standards, policies, procedures, and new initiatives.

• Coach and mentor community Resident Engagement associates across four engagement avenues: groups, resident-led clubs, individual pursuits, and external partners.

• Support, consult with, and follow up with community Facebook editors, including training, resources, and quality/compliance oversight.

• Facilitate professional development, training, meetings, company initiatives, and planning calls for the mentor program.

• Supervise interviews and site visits for new mentor candidates.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be located in either the Central or Mountain Time Zone.

• A Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, along with a minimum of five years of relevant experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience is required.

• Preferred: Experience working in a senior living environment with direct involvement in resident programming, including programming for residents at various levels of care, and operational leadership, including multi-site experience.

• Willingness to travel overnight up to 75% of the time.

• May need to work extra hours and/or be on call during off-hours.

• Extensive knowledge, interest, and proven ability in program planning for older adults.

• A philosophical commitment to preserving and enhancing the dignity, quality of life, and optimal functioning of older adults.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and team-building abilities.

• Proficiency in computer applications is essential.

• Good judgment and enthusiasm are required.

• Ability to work amidst frequent interruptions and manage multiple priorities.

• A keen sense of efficiency in completing all assigned tasks successfully.
