This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the strategy for generating external insights and activating congresses related to U.S. Neurology for gMG and NMOSD.
• Develop and refine the strategy for external insights while defining key business questions of priority.
• Take ownership of the complete strategy and execution for the Neurology advisory board.
• Integrate insights from the advisory board into actionable recommendations for franchise strategies, indication plans, customer engagements, content, and investment decisions.
• Create and oversee a structured field-insight model in collaboration with the Thought Leader Liaison team.
• Recognize emerging customer needs, dynamics among opinion leaders, scientific advancements, competitive activities, and themes at the account level.
• Convert field intelligence into decision-ready insights for Medical Marketing, HCP Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales, and franchise leadership.
• Direct the annual congress activation plan, including sponsorship strategies, selection, contracting coordination, vendor management, and post-event evaluations.
• Manage cross-functional activation at congresses, integrating insights, scientific priorities, promotional opportunities, field priorities, competitive intelligence, and follow-up activities after congresses.
• Oversee strategic prioritization and activation needs for Tier 3 local meetings.
• Contribute insights regarding customers, science, field activities, and congress implications to annual brand planning, long-range planning, quarterly priorities, and tactical objectives.
• Manage budgets related to insights and congresses, as well as agencies and external vendors.
• Represent Insights and Congress Strategy Medical Marketing in franchise forums while communicating risks, opportunities, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Innovate the processes for insight generation, field intelligence, congress planning, activation measurement, and knowledge sharing through advanced capabilities, technologies, analytics, and AI.
• Directly lead, mentor, and develop team members while establishing priorities, decision-making rights, accountability, and development plans.
• Establish an operational model that balances strategic leadership with disciplined execution.
• Promote a culture of scientific curiosity, customer focus, accountability, collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to high execution standards.
• Doctorate degree with 2 years of marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization; OR a Master's degree with 4 years of marketing and/or business experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 6 years of marketing and/or business experience; OR an Associate's degree with 10 years of marketing and/or business experience; OR a high school diploma/GED with 12 years of marketing and/or business experience.
• Proven experience in direct people management, including coaching and developing talent, setting priorities, and leading during times of change.
• Extensive expertise in Medical Marketing, market research, or strategic insights, including advisory board strategy and execution, field insight generation, customer intelligence, and insight synthesis.
• Experience managing congress portfolio strategy, sponsorship planning, cross-functional activation planning, external vendor management, budget oversight, and on-site execution for complex meeting portfolios.
• Experience in collaboration with external experts, professional medical associations, and congress organizers.
• Familiarity with developing promotional and disease-state materials through the MAC review process and systems like Veeva PromoMats.
• Experience in Neurology is preferred.
• Preferred experience in rare diseases as well as launch or in-line branding.
• Strong skills in strategic thinking, analytical rigor, project management, and communication.
• Ability to synthesize complex information, lead through influence, and deliver results across various cross-functional workstreams.
• An MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.
