Senior Manager, Strategic Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead valuation efforts, total addressable market (TAM) analyses, market research, market assessments, and competitive intelligence studies.

• Evaluate pricing and packaging structures while influencing pricing strategies.

• Enhance and manage the organization’s long-term financial model.

• Develop dynamic models and conduct sensitivity analyses pertaining to macro factors in the blockchain and cryptocurrency sectors.

• Scale the financial model into the planning tool.

• Construct financial models and scenario analyses to inform capital allocation decisions, including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and entry into new markets.

• Summarize scenario outputs into narratives and recommendations suitable for executive presentation.

• Monitor post-investment performance against underwriting assumptions and integrate insights into future planning.

• Provide guidance to senior leadership and the executive team on critical strategic decisions.

• Evaluate operational impacts and support the implementation of operational changes.

• Collaborate with the CFO, finance leadership, and various teams across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–9 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or a comparable analytical role.

• Exceptional executive presentation abilities for effectively communicating complex topics to C-level audiences.

• Investor mindset with the capability to distill complex business dynamics into investment theses and risk-adjusted recommendations.

• Strong business acumen linking financial results to operational drivers.

• Capacity to navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions despite incomplete information.

• Entrepreneurial mindset to define and shape the strategic finance function.

• Proficient financial modeling skills, including experience with large datasets in Excel and Google Sheets.

• Background in a SaaS, data, or technology company is preferred.

• Familiarity with blockchain, cryptocurrency, or Web3 is a significant advantage but not mandatory.
