Regional Finance Service Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct credit operations across designated geographic regions and various business sectors.

• Create and uphold credit policies and guidelines.

• Set credit limits and ensure adherence to regulations.

• Provide leadership to several Area Financial Service Managers across diverse locations.

• Manage the complete credit portfolio for a designated customer segment.

• Report directly to the Senior Retail Financial Services Manager.

• Lead and mentor a team of Area Financial Service Managers.

• Assess the financial strengths and weaknesses of potential and current customers to evaluate eligibility for credit, financing, or related services.

• Develop, implement, and oversee collection procedures.

• Establish and maintain an effective credit information network.

• Oversee collections, including follow-up inquiries, negotiations with overdue accounts, and referrals to collection agencies.

• Contribute to updates of credit policies.

• Set performance objectives, communicate these objectives, and monitor progress.

• Conduct interviews, provide training, foster development, and motivate team members.

• Assess and enhance the credit function for the assigned area.

• Suggest improvements to the Director, Global Credit.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university.

• Over 8 years of related experience and/or training.

• Experience in Food Manufacturing and/or Agriculture is highly preferred.

• Previous experience in collections, lending, and/or extending credit.

• Strong understanding of accounting and banking practices, relevant laws and legal processes, marketing strategies, and general agricultural practices.

• Robust background in business administration and financial analysis.

• Previous experience in leading multiple managers/supervisors is strongly preferred.

• Willingness to travel to assigned markets 50% of the time (Western Region).

• Successful completion of a post-offer criminal background check.
