Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage all daily finance operations, encompassing monthly close, billing, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, commissions, and cash management.

• Take full responsibility for financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

• Generate accurate investor, board, and management reports with clear financial narratives.

• Assist and eventually take charge of accounting workflows with external accounting partners.

• Ensure compliance and precision in healthcare financial reporting.

• Assess current workflows within the first 30 days, identify areas of inefficiency, and implement scalable process enhancements within 90 days.

• Collaborate closely with Strategy, Operations, and Expansion teams on pricing strategies, gross-margin optimization, unit economics, and growth opportunities.

• Work in partnership with the Finance Lead and Executive Leadership Team on capital allocation, growth strategies, and overall financial strategy.

• Evaluate, adopt, and promote finance technology, including AI-driven tools, to boost operational efficiency and financial intelligence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in the healthcare industry (experience in PACE, value-based care, or health plans is highly preferred).

• Proven experience in both FP&A and accounting within a single role.

• 5–8+ years of experience in finance or a related field.

• Experience in a VC- or PE-backed company.

• Familiarity with startup or high-growth environments; you’ve developed processes in lean settings.

• Experience working in scaled or larger organizations.

• Demonstrated capability to manage financial operations from start to finish with minimal supervision.

• Accounting fluency; you've overseen or managed accounting functions, even if not a CPA.

• Knowledge of finance/accounting platforms such as Ramp, Rippling, Sage, or similar tools.

• Strong analytical skills with a track record of translating data into financial narratives.

• Authentic experience with advanced technology and AI tools in finance workflows.

• CPA, CFA, or relevant certification is preferred.
