This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Offer assistance and services to BMO’s Investment Operations business stakeholders and clients.
• Implement and deliver Investment products and service processes in compliance with financial and regulatory controls, as well as operational guidelines.
• Collect and organize data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
• Aid in the execution and sustainability of change management activities.
• Arrange work information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Process service requests, transactions, queries, and related routine tasks within established SLAs.
• Accurately and promptly handle transactions, activities, and services in response to stakeholder requests.
• Provide knowledgeable and precise responses to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Adhere to documented policies and procedures to fulfill SLAs.
• Verify and reconcile information and documentation.
• Analyze data and information to deliver insights and recommendations.
• Identify, assess, and resolve issues or escalate as necessary.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and operational risks.
• Collaborate on the development of new processes/systems and enhancements to existing ones.
• Assist in tool development and the delivery of training.
• Manage complex and diverse tasks and address escalations from colleagues.
• Analyze issues and determine appropriate next steps.
• Utilize BMO’s Risk Management Framework to make informed risk decisions in line with business strategy and applicable policies, laws, and regulations.
• Generally, 2–3 years of relevant experience is expected.
• A post-secondary degree in a related field of study is preferred, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency and experience with relevant systems and technology – Good.
• Understanding of the business unit’s key products, services, processes, and controls – Good.
• Familiarity with the risk and regulatory requirements of the business – Good.
• Skills in prioritization – Good.
• Customer service skills – Good.
• Proficient in PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – Good.
• Specialized knowledge is an asset.
