This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead a sales team focused on Software Business, consisting of Software Account Executives.
• Create a robust pipeline that drives new software sales, bookings, and recognized revenue.
• Offer leadership, development, and guidance to Software Account Executives to enhance performance, surpass quotas, adhere to the sales process, and improve forecasting accuracy.
• Oversee key accounts and designated strategic customers.
• Formulate and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives for Software Business solutions across both direct reports and individual territories.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors and Account Managers to promote Software Business solutions in the assigned regional areas.
• Ensure accurate forecasting and effective pipeline management for all sales opportunities.
• Manage the development of personnel for direct reports.
• Provide cross-functional leadership, development, and training for Clinical Application Specialists.
• Enhance field deployment and drive validation, utilization, and expansion opportunities for BloodTrack and SafeTrace Tx.
• Oversee personal development and manage expenses.
• Support the expansion and implementation of Software Business solutions.
• Create strategic marketing initiatives, including white papers, case studies, and engagement with key opinion leaders.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships with Commercial Delivery, Contracting, Legal, Accounting, and Finance departments.
• Cultivate customer relationships with key clients and strategic partners to boost revenue, establish market presence, and propel strategic initiatives.
• Proven track record of success in sales is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years in medical device and software sales is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in C-Suite sales is necessary.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications is preferred.
• A Bachelor of Arts or Science degree is preferred.
• A Master of Arts or Science or an MBA is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills are essential.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data effectively.
• Proven problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to foster strong customer relationships.
• Develop and execute effective Solution Selling strategies.
• Proficient negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational capabilities.

• Willingness to travel domestically frequently: 50–75%.
• Occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials may occur.
• Occasional exposure to blood is possible.
• Frequent keyboarding is required.
