Senior Manager – Software Development Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic direction and oversee the digital engineering department.

• Lead a team of engineers while promoting innovation and teamwork.

• Establish technical strategies and roadmaps that align with business objectives.

• Supervise digital engineering projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and schedule.

• Contribute to long-term planning, technology adoption strategies, and initiatives for innovation.

• Advise teams on best practices, enhance development processes, and address technical challenges.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to outline the digital engineering strategy and roadmap.

• Participate in the design and architecture of digital solutions.

• Engage with business leaders, clients, and partners to gather requirements and manage expectations effectively.

• Establish quality assurance processes and standards.

• Promote continuous improvement and optimize development workflows.

• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support for the professional growth of digital engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software development.

• More than 3 years of experience with Node.js and/or AWS cloud engineering.

• At least 3 years of experience in directing or managing engineering teams, including performance development and capacity planning.

• Proficient in AWS.

• Practical experience in establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with engineering teams.

• Proven experience in bridging gaps between technical teams to enhance collaboration and delivery.

• Experience working with architecture stakeholders to define and influence technical decisions.

• Familiarity with generative AI tools to streamline software development workflows.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Alternatively, a high school diploma combined with 4 years of relevant experience.
