This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.
• Take charge of Ursa Major’s social media strategy, editorial guidance, and content calendar, curating across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other emerging channels.
• Create social-first concepts and narratives that highlight the brand, products, ingredients, team, Vermont heritage, and the wider world.
• Collaborate closely with the creative team and founders to transform ideas into reality.
• Foster and cultivate a vibrant social community utilizing a creator CRM and working alongside the Creator Marketing team.
• Keep an eye on cultural trends and discussions surrounding the brand and its competitors.
• Spearhead organic social support for product launches, campaigns, events, partnerships, and various brand initiatives.
• Recognize high-performing organic content for paid amplification in collaboration with the Growth team.
• Leverage engagement, performance, and insights data to refine content and channel strategy.
• Integrate owned social storytelling with the creator ecosystem.
• Gradually build and oversee a small social team.
• Propel on-brand visual and written storytelling, fostering meaningful engagement and enhancing brand affinity.
• Monitor engagement rates, shares and saves, organic reach, video engagement/watch time, qualified community growth, and the performance of paid-amplified social content.
• 4-7+ years of relevant experience.
• Significant ownership of social media for a premium, distinctive, challenger consumer or lifestyle brand.
• Exceptional creative instincts.
• Capability to translate a brand concept into an engaging social narrative, concept, and brief.
• Strong understanding of social media language, rhythms, and guidelines.
• Proficient experience with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging social media platforms.
• Background in wellness, food, fashion, outdoor, travel, or another culturally significant category is advantageous; beauty experience is a plus but not required.
• A deep commitment to wellness and sustainability.
• Keen editorial and creative judgment.
• Ability to utilize engagement, performance, and insights data to enhance content and channel strategy.
