
Senior Manager, Sales Engineering – US Public Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a geographically dispersed Sales Engineering team that serves Federal, DoD, Intelligence Community, Civilian, State, and Local Government clients.
• Develop a uniform operational framework that encompasses team coverage, technical sales methodologies, performance benchmarks, and leadership transparency.
• Evaluate team skills and capacity, addressing developmental, recruitment, performance, and career advancement requirements.
• Collaborate with Public Sector sales executives to define the responsibilities of Account Directors and Sales Engineers, fostering a more proactive collaborative environment.
• Harmonize technical discovery, product demonstrations, Proof of Value initiatives, technical validation, and post-sale transitions.
• Drive strategic initiatives and assist the team in achieving technical victories.
• Collaborate with Product, Professional Services, Intelligence Services, and Channel teams to enhance customer experiences and shape Public Sector strategies.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience leading a Sales Engineering, PreSales, or technical sales organization in the cybersecurity domain.
• Significant experience in supporting Public Sector clients, particularly within Federal, DoD, or Intelligence Community sectors.
• Extensive technical expertise in threat intelligence and security operations, including SIEM, SOAR, APIs, integrations, and related technologies.
• Proven experience in developing or enhancing Sales Engineering processes, coverage models, operational rhythms, and performance metrics.
• Demonstrated history of building diverse teams, recruiting top talent, and addressing performance deficiencies.
• Capability to personally engage in complex discovery sessions, demonstrations, Proof of Value initiatives, and technical discussions with customers.
• Hands-on, highly accountable leadership approach complemented by exceptional cross-functional and executive communication abilities.
