Senior Manager, Sales & Deal Enablement

📋 Description

• Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes for Sales and deal-enablement capabilities.

• Lead cross-functional teams to streamline and enhance Sales workflows, boost seller productivity, expedite deal progression, and elevate execution quality.

• Identify capability gaps, ensure stakeholder alignment, and drive successful delivery.

• Translate business strategies, seller needs, and operational challenges into product capabilities, release objectives, and backlogs.

• Own or assist with pricing and connected deal capabilities, which include pricing guidance, commercial rules, approvals, deal preparation, document generation, and workflow orchestration.

• Collaborate with Sales Operations, Finance, Legal, contracting teams, and both regional and global stakeholders.

• Ensure seamless integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365, customer and product data, contracting, ERP, analytics, and enterprise services.

• Provide adaptable product leadership across key Sales capabilities and ambiguous initiatives.

• Lead initiatives from discovery and business-case development through to delivery, stabilization, adoption, and lifecycle management.

• Drive adoption through user-centered design, playbooks, training, communications, change management, analytics, and dashboards.

• Define and monitor outcomes such as adoption, productivity, pricing accuracy, approval cycle times, deal velocity, reliability, reuse, and reduction of manual work.

• Oversee end-to-end product delivery, including discovery, planning, backlog management, release readiness, adoption, stabilization, and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with engineering and architecture to balance value, feasibility, risk, cost, quality, timing, and platform integrity.

• Manage dependencies across Sales, pricing, contracting, data, integrations, security, privacy, infrastructure, and related capabilities.

• Establish governance, decision rights, escalation paths, acceptance criteria, service expectations, and operational responsibilities.

• Provide leadership during material delivery or production issues and address root causes effectively.

• Manage budgets, resource plans, forecasts, investment proposals, and financial trade-offs.

• Lead and mentor employees, contractors, and delivery partners.

• Manage strategic vendors and systems integrators.

• Develop product management, Sales-domain, adoption, change, delivery, and business partnership capabilities within the team.

• Foster an inclusive, accountable, and outcome-focused culture.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information technology, computer science, business, engineering, or a related field.

• A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in product management, platform management, commercial technology, enterprise applications, sales enablement, or technology delivery.

• Proven product leadership experience in enterprise Sales, CRM, pricing, deal management, CPQ, quoting, contracting, workflow, or similar commercial capabilities.

• Strong understanding of Sales workflows, seller experience, pricing and approval processes, customer and opportunity management, and integrated commercial processes.

• Experience in defining product strategy, outcome-based roadmaps, investment priorities, backlogs, release plans, adoption strategies, and value metrics.

• Experience leading complex or ambiguous portfolios from discovery through delivery and operational ownership.

• Proven track record in delivering global products across multiple functions, regions, teams, and technology platforms in regulated or highly controlled environments.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, integration and API patterns, data platforms, Microsoft 365, and enterprise application ecosystems.

• Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets, resource plans, forecasts, suppliers, systems integrators, and delivery commitments.

• Demonstrated leadership skills, including goal setting, coaching, performance management, talent development, and leading employees and contractors.

• Familiarity with agile product delivery, backlog management, release planning, risk management, change management, service operations, and incident leadership.

• Strong executive communication, facilitation, negotiation, collaboration, and influencing abilities.

• Working fluency in AI-enabled product capabilities.

• Preferred experience in MedTech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or another regulated industry.

• Preferred experience with enterprise pricing, CPQ, quoting, approvals, automated document generation, or contracting platforms.

• Preferred experience in applying global product governance while enabling controlled regional or business-unit variations.

• Preferred experience integrating CRM and Sales platforms with enterprise services.

• Preferred experience leading organizational change, product adoption, process simplification, data-quality improvement, and legacy-tool retirement.

• Preferred experience managing a diverse portfolio or serving as a flexible product leader.

• Preferred experience establishing product operating models, service metrics, controls, and production-support practices.
