This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Lead the annual process for designing sales compensation from inception to completion
• Choose compensation metrics and develop plan structures
• Oversee the implementation and training for the sales team
• Manage sales compensation plans, ensuring accurate and timely commission and incentive payments
• Handle compensation policies and related documentation
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Total Rewards leadership
• Align compensation initiatives, SPIFFs, and partnership agreements with strategic goals
• Provide analytics and reports on quota achievement, capacity modeling, and compensation efficacy
• Lead and nurture the team responsible for sales compensation and deal strategy
• Supervise a direct report concentrating on the financial implications of non-standard deal structures
• Report directly to the VP of Finance
• Over 8 years of experience in sales compensation, sales operations, finance, or a related area
• At least 1 year of experience in people management
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to convert complex data into concise, actionable insights for executive presentations
• Extensive knowledge in developing, administering, and communicating sales compensation plans
• Experience working with Sales, Legal, and HR stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior management
• Proficient in compensation platforms and CRM systems such as CaptivateIQ, Xactly, and Salesforce
• Familiarity with deal desk or custom pricing strategies is advantageous
• Proactive adoption of AI and familiarity with emerging technologies
• Valid authorization to work based on the country of employment
• A successful background check may be required
