This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Take ownership of the customer account and manage all facets of the customer relationship.
• Engage directly with airlines to determine customer requirements and foster new client connections.
• Gain insight into customer organization, culture, structure, decision-makers, and their decision-making processes.
• Oversee overall customer satisfaction.
• Align customer demands and needs with business strategy and objectives.
• Develop strategies for pursuit and capture, presenting them to the leadership team.
• Provide precise and timely orders and sales forecasts.
• Create and manage the orders pipeline.
• Utilize a CRM to monitor calls, emails, opportunities, and campaign metrics.
• Collaborate with other business units to enhance sales opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to influence decisions and achieve results.
• Network with contacts within Collins Aerospace and beyond the area of expertise.
• Assist marketing teams with insights on market trends, customers, and competitors.
• Participate in regional trade shows to promote the Collins Aerospace brand and its solutions.
• Expand the Commercial Avionics business by identifying new opportunities, executing pursuit strategies, and closing complex deals.
• Collaborate with Commercial Airline customers in the United States and Canada.
• Generally requires a University Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 7 years of experience.
• Previous sales experience is essential.
• Previous experience in the Aviation sector is mandatory.
• Experience in selling to Large Accounts is required.
• Experience within the Aerospace industry is preferred.
• Background in managing and nurturing relationships with key clients to drive business growth is preferred.
• Collaborative experience with internal and external stakeholders is preferred.
• Proficiency in French is preferred but not mandatory.
• Previous experience as a Pilot is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
• Anticipated travel will exceed 50%.
• Ideal candidates should reside near a major or international airport.
