This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
β’ Take charge of and oversee customer accounts, along with all facets of customer relationships.
β’ Communicate directly with airlines to ascertain customer needs and cultivate new client relationships.
β’ Gain an understanding of customer organizations, cultures, structures, decision-makers, and the decision-making process.
β’ Ensure overall customer satisfaction is maintained.
β’ Balance the demands and needs of customers with the strategies and requirements of the business.
β’ Develop pursuit and capture strategies, presenting them to leadership.
β’ Supply accurate and timely orders along with sales forecasts.
β’ Establish and oversee the orders pipeline.
β’ Monitor sales activities, including calls, emails, opportunities, and campaign metrics using a CRM system.
β’ Collaborate with other business units to enhance sales opportunities and guarantee customer satisfaction.
β’ Partner with cross-functional teams to influence decisions and achieve results.
β’ Network with Collins Aerospace contacts and external entities to facilitate successful business capture.
β’ Provide marketing teams with insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive information.
β’ Participate in regional tradeshows to promote the Collins Aerospace brand and its solutions.
β’ Expand the Commercial Avionics business through prospecting, execution of pursuit strategies, and closing complex deals.
β’ Engage directly with Commercial Airlines in the United States and Canada.
β’ Generally requires a University Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 7 years of experience.
β’ Previous sales experience is mandatory.
β’ Prior experience in aviation is essential.
β’ Experience selling to large accounts is required.
β’ Previous involvement in the aerospace industry is preferred.
β’ Experience managing and nurturing relationships with key customers to drive business growth is preferred.
β’ Collaborative experience with both internal and external stakeholders is preferred.
β’ Proficiency in French is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ Previous pilot experience is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without company immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
β’ Security clearance is not required.
β’ Expected travel may exceed 50%.
β’ Preference for candidates residing near a major or international airport.
