This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Take complete ownership of Lingraphica's payor revenue engine, overseeing all aspects from contract negotiation and payor strategy to billing, collections, cash posting, and reconciliation.
• Establish minimum allowable contract pricing and enhance ASP performance through effective negotiation.
• Ensure that the value of submitted claims is realized through proper cash application.
• Directly supervise the Reimbursement Manager, Cash Posting & Reconciliation Manager, and Payor Strategy Manager.
• Define departmental strategy and establish standards.
• Manage AR health and cash performance at a strategic level.
• Develop a strategy for payor access and expansion, focusing on markets and payors that align with Lingraphica's growth objectives.
• Lead negotiations for payor contract terms and reimbursement rates.
• Monitor payor policies and analyze performance data related to payors.
• Create and lead the Payor Strategy Manager role.
• Ensure timely and accurate claims submission and follow-up processes.
• Oversee collections performance, aging, and the management of denial workflows.
• Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Payor Readiness to facilitate funding and authorization transitions into billing.
• Drive cash-flow performance and manage cash forecasts.
• Supervise cash posting and reconciliation to ensure alignment with contracted rates.
• Implement processes to identify underpayments and discrepancies in rates.
• Develop and present KPIs related to payor access, contract rates, billing/collections, and cash reconciliation.
• Provide data-driven business cases to support payor negotiations and prioritization.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of payor reimbursement terms, billing regulations, and compliance requirements in collections.
• Report directly to the Director of Operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Over 7 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
• Direct experience in payor contracting or negotiating reimbursement rates.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience.
• Proven leadership ability with experience managing managers and multi-team departments.
• Strong understanding of billing, collections, and cash reconciliation workflows in a healthcare or DME/HME context.
• Demonstrated experience in building or owning a cash forecast or AR/revenue model.
• Proven track record of leveraging data and analytics to guide payor and contracting strategies.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and cross-functional influencing skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the U.S., including airline travel, up to 2 times per year for in-person team and all-company meetings.
• Preferred: Experience in speech-generating devices, durable medical equipment, or related healthcare technology sectors.
• Preferred: Experience in building or scaling a dedicated payor strategy or managed care department.
• Preferred: Familiarity with payor policy analytics and reimbursement modeling tools.
