This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Assist designated onboarding hotels in generating revenue, executing commercial strategies, and achieving business readiness prior to and following their opening.
• Collaborate with the Franchise Onboarding team to establish readiness for pre-opening and immediate post-opening across sales planning, marketing, revenue channels, and brand initiatives.
• Ensure that Critical Path deliverables for pre-opening sales, marketing, and revenue development are completed promptly.
• Create and present playbooks, guides, and self-service materials.
• Develop scalable routines that aid hotel stabilization and transition to ongoing RDO support.
• Perform market assessments for new hotels and gather business intelligence to pinpoint prioritized sales opportunities.
• Mentor property-level teams on sales tactics, brand initiatives, and revenue prospects.
• Implement tactical sales strategies and revenue-generating tools.
• Act as the main point of contact before and immediately following conversion.
• Collaborate with the Onboarding team to enhance support models and hold regular cadence calls with assigned hotels.
• Utilize Sonesta brand tools and resources to foster revenue development and enhance performance growth.
• Update revenue generation teams on new hotel market characteristics, business drivers, and prioritized revenue opportunities.
• Expedite marketing and distribution strategies while streamlining internal processes for early performance improvements.
• Compile insights, strategies, and updates for internal Leadership stakeholders.
• Regularly evaluate assigned priority hotel markets and strategies for revenue enhancement opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience is mandatory.
• A minimum of seven years of professional experience in multi-unit hotel management or above-property roles in sales operations, revenue generation, distribution, and/or commercial operations leadership is required.
• Experience with hotel pre-opening, conversion, and branded franchise hotels is essential.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Agency360, STR, and Delphi is required.
• Highly organized self-starter capable of prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and multitasking across various disciplines and time zones.
• Proven capability to manage processes and projects across technical, distribution, revenue, sales, marketing, and operational activities for new hotels.
• Ability to manage dependencies, monitor critical milestones, and ensure timely execution.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively with a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to identify efficient methods for completing tasks, removing obstacles, and sharing best practices.
• Proven history of driving change, overcoming challenges, and achieving measurable results in rapidly growing organizations.
• Willingness to travel to various hotel locations by car or air and work at sites outside of the office.
• Up to 40% travel, including some international travel, is required.
