This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee operational management of contracted payor escalations, including settlements, legal issues, and support during contract negotiations.
• Create strategies to facilitate the resolution of payor escalations.
• Lead large escalations and projects in collaboration with ROPS, Legal and Contracting partners, as well as external insurance companies.
• Address complex and significant claim payment disputes through legal and contracting processes.
• Work collaboratively to identify solutions that prevent recurring challenges.
• Customize communications for various audiences.
• Devise and present compelling recommendations to senior leadership.
• Establish team objectives and inspire the team to surpass expectations.
• Ensure accountability for team outcomes and the quality of work produced.
• Oversee projects that involve multiple participants and stakeholders.
• Balance competing priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
• Analyze barriers critically and develop and execute solutions.
• Build and lead high-performing teams and nurture potential leaders.
• Foster a diverse professional network.
• Consistently apply coaching and feedback.
• Motivate the team to align with the leadership vision and drive change.
• Provide valuable insights for teams and projects.
• Convert high-level strategies and intricate insights into practical opportunities.
• Identify and engage stakeholders to promote collaboration.
• Offer convincing recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or equivalent – Required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field – Preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel – Required.
• Solid understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle – Required.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle collections – Preferred.
• Capability to manage significant escalations and projects with ROPS, Legal and Contracting partners, and external insurance entities.
• Ability to resolve complex issues and collaborate effectively as part of a dynamic team.
