
Senior Manager, Product – Residential HVAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Oversee designated residential HVAC product lines throughout the entire product lifecycle, encompassing definition, launch planning, maintenance, feature enhancements, and end-of-life transitions.
• Contribute to product strategy, roadmap priorities, and portfolio initiatives.
• Act as the primary product owner for the assigned products.
• Manage cross-functional new product introduction programs from the initial concept through to launch and subsequent support.
• Collaborate with Technology, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, Regulatory, and external partners regarding requirements, launch preparedness, and execution.
• Identify potential risks, resolve issues, and drive tradeoff decisions related to performance, timing, cost, and supply continuity.
• Support business performance metrics such as profitability, revenue, and inventory.
• Monitor market performance, product health, and portfolio outcomes.
• Work with Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain on forecasts, transitions, and inventory management.
• Integrate insights from customers, channels, markets, and funnels into product planning and launch efforts.
• Assist with pricing inputs, sales enablement, onboarding, training, trade events, and launch communications.
• Engage in segmentation and channel discussions.
• Foster alignment among cross-functional teams.
• Provide direction, coordination, and review for supporting contributors' work.
• Serve as the key contact for product-related decisions and escalate risks and recommendations as needed.
• Support special projects, portfolio reviews, annual operating plan activities, and process enhancements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Product Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 7 years of pertinent experience in HVAC product management, engineering, commercial, or related business areas.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional product development, lifecycle management, or new product introduction initiatives.
• Familiarity with utilizing business and market insights to inform product decisions, prioritization, and launch execution.
• Knowledge of residential HVAC products, technologies, regulatory standards, and market dynamics.
• Understanding of product management processes, cost structures, and value drivers.
• Capability to leverage customer, channel, and competitive insights.
• Experience in contributing to product strategies and multi-year roadmaps.
• Ability to assess technical, cost, timing, risk, and customer tradeoffs.
• Proficiency in leading and uniting cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience in supporting commercialization activities, including pricing inputs, launch readiness, and sales enablement.
• Capacity to direct, coordinate, and review work for supporting contributors.
• An MBA, master’s degree, or other advanced degree or certification is preferred.
• Experience in HVAC or technical consumer or contractor-facing product categories is preferred.
• Familiarity with electrification, sustainable product initiatives, or entry into new product segments is preferred.
• Experience collaborating with external and international suppliers, development partners, or manufacturing stakeholders is preferred.
• Willingness to participate in evening calls (EST) with international teams/suppliers 4–6 times a month.
• Up to 20% domestic and/or international travel may be required.
