This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the organization's expert on allied health career paths, healthcare occupational trends, and the labor market for healthcare employers.
• Develop strategies for Penn Foster to excel in the healthcare sector across both B2C and B2B markets.
• Explore new market segments, innovative program concepts, and partnership possibilities.
• Focus on investments that enhance learner outcomes and drive business performance.
• Manage the healthcare portfolio investment strategy, including building, expanding, divesting, or retiring offerings.
• Keep a program roadmap based on market evidence, unit economics, accreditation standards, and goals for learner outcomes.
• Assess the competitive landscape by monitoring competitor launches, pricing strategies, partnerships, and market positioning.
• Track employment trends in healthcare and interpret their implications for the portfolio.
• Develop evidence-based program strategies that outline the issues, market and competitive context, target learners/employers, potential market size, and criteria for measurable success.
• Evaluate portfolio performance and collaborate with relevant teams to address and resolve underperforming programs.
• Collaborate across teams to enhance the portfolio without direct authority.
• Act as the definitive source of market insights and ensure that program commitments are achievable.
• Collaborate with Finance on healthcare P&L and unit economics.
• Travel as necessary for market research, conferences, and team meetings.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• An advanced degree in healthcare administration, public health, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 8 years of experience in product/portfolio strategy and/or strategy consulting.
• Significant exposure to the healthcare, allied health, or healthcare workforce/education sectors.
• Experience in developing strategies for both B2C and B2B go-to-market initiatives.
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities.
• Proficient in working with enrollment, outcomes, and financial data to create a compelling business case.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Previous experience in online education, workforce training, or healthcare education is highly preferred.
• Must reside and perform work within the United States.
• Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.
• Employees are expected to be on camera during meetings unless there are extenuating circumstances.
