This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the subject-matter authority on allied health career pathways, healthcare occupational trends, and the healthcare labor and employer market.
• Develop strategies for Penn Foster to excel in the healthcare sector across both B2C and B2B channels.
• Discover new market segments, program ideas, and partnership opportunities.
• Focus on investments that enhance learner outcomes and business performance.
• Oversee the investment strategy for the healthcare portfolio and maintain a program roadmap.
• Base portfolio decisions on market evidence, unit economics, accreditation standards, and learner outcome objectives.
• Keep track of the competitive landscape, including competitor initiatives, pricing strategies, partnerships, and positioning.
• Analyze healthcare employment trends and interpret their implications for the portfolio.
• Create evidence-based program strategies with clear definitions of success.
• Monitor portfolio performance and diagnose issues in underperforming programs in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Work collaboratively across departments to advance the portfolio without direct authority.
• Collaborate with Finance on healthcare P&L and unit economics.
• Travel as necessary for market research, conferences, and team meetings.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• An advanced degree in healthcare administration, public health, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 8 years of experience in product/portfolio strategy and/or strategy consulting.
• Significant exposure to the healthcare, allied health, or healthcare workforce/education sectors.
• Experience in developing strategies that encompass both B2C and B2B go-to-market approaches.
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities.
• Comfortable working with enrollment, outcomes, and financial data to create a business case.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners without formal authority.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Prior experience in online education, workforce training, or healthcare education is strongly preferred.
• Must reside and perform work within the United States.
• Must be willing and able to travel as required.
