Senior Manager, PMO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the PMO function that supports the growth of hearing aid retail, operational execution, and enterprise transformation projects.

• Build, lead, and nurture a high-performing team of project managers.

• Establish and enhance PMO standards, project governance, delivery frameworks, tools, templates, and operational rhythms.

• Direct portfolio governance that includes project intake, prioritization, sequencing, approval frameworks, portfolio reviews, and executive-level reporting.

• Convert strategic priorities into actionable project plans, milestones, resource requirements, risk management strategies, and measurable success indicators.

• Supervise high-impact initiatives across Retail Operations, Managed Care, Marketing, Contact Center, Finance, Training, HR, IT, and additional functions.

• Ensure business ownership for technology-enabled and system-related projects, which encompass requirements, process design, change readiness, testing, training, adoption, and operational results.

• Serve as a liaison between business teams and IT.

• Track project performance, risks, dependencies, budgets, timelines, decisions, and issue resolution.

• Create executive dashboards, status reports, KPIs, and portfolio analytics.

• Lead discussions on resource planning and capacity.

• Assist in change management planning, stakeholder communication, training coordination, and adoption tracking.

• Propel continuous improvement in project delivery capabilities, PMO maturity, governance discipline, and cross-functional execution.

• Mentor project managers and business stakeholders on project management best practices, business case development, risk management, and execution discipline.

• Perform additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Healthcare Administration, Management, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field.

• 8+ years of progressive experience in project management, program management, business transformation, retail operations, or related areas.

• 3+ years of experience leading project managers, project teams, or cross-functional workstreams.

• Experience in managing complex, cross-functional initiatives within matrixed organizations involving both business and technical stakeholders.

• Experience collaborating with IT on system implementations, business requirements, user acceptance testing, change readiness, training, and adoption strategies.

• Experience in supporting or enhancing project governance, project intake, prioritization, status reporting, risk management, and delivery standards.

• Preferred experience in healthcare, hearing care, retail healthcare, managed care, multi-site operations, or field operations.

• Strong expertise in project and program management.

• Business-first mindset with the ability to translate operational needs into actionable project plans and system requirements.

• Capability to effectively partner with IT while ensuring system-related initiatives align with business objectives, field workflows, and operational results.

• Excellent skills in stakeholder management, influencing, facilitation, and relationship building.

• Strong communication skills, including preparing status updates, decision materials, dashboards, and risk summaries for senior leadership.

• Ability to lead in uncertain situations, manage competing priorities, identify dependencies, and escalate decisions appropriately.

• Strong business acumen linking project execution to revenue growth, operational performance, clinic productivity, customer experience, and field adoption.

• Preferred experience with PMO or project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Planview, OnePlan, Microsoft Project, Power BI, or similar platforms.

• Preferred certifications such as PMP, Prosci, Lean Six Sigma, or related project, program, or change management qualifications.
