This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete recruitment process for physician investigators and oncology physicians throughout START's clinical research network.
• Formulate targeted sourcing strategies aimed at Medical Oncologists, Hematologist-Oncologists, and other oncology subspecialists who possess clinical research experience.
• Develop and nurture relationships with both active and passive physician candidates.
• Handle sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate evaluation, offer formulation, contract negotiations, and onboarding.
• Organize physician site visits and facilitate interactions with executive leadership, physician leaders, and site management.
• Showcase START's clinical research platform, scientific capabilities, and career opportunities to potential physician investigators.
• Lead offer negotiations with business leaders and partner organizations.
• Create proactive talent pipelines for physician investigators and long-term recruitment strategies.
• Build connections with oncology fellowship programs, academic cancer centers, and physician training institutions.
• Develop referral strategies for physicians utilizing START's investigator network.
• Represent START at oncology, drug development, and physician networking events.
• Keep informed about physician availability, compensation trends, and emerging talent markets.
• Provide guidance to senior leadership and physician leaders regarding workforce needs, labor market conditions, and recruitment strategies.
• Share updates on candidate pipelines, recruitment performance, and expected hiring challenges.
• Track recruitment metrics such as sourcing effectiveness, offer acceptance rates, and time-to-fill.
• Ensure adherence to recruitment policies and relevant regulations.
• Assist with physician onboarding and integration activities.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of five years of experience in physician recruitment.
• Proven track record of successfully recruiting physicians in highly competitive healthcare markets.
• Experience managing the physician recruitment process from sourcing to finalized employment agreements.
• Proficiency in building passive candidate pipelines and implementing direct sourcing strategies.
• Strong skills in negotiation, relationship management, and executive communication.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Experience in recruiting oncology physicians is preferred.
• Experience in recruiting physician investigators, Principal Investigators, or research physicians is preferred.
• Background in supporting clinical research organizations, cancer centers, oncology networks, or academic medical centers is preferred.
• Established connections within oncology and cancer research communities are preferred.
• Working knowledge of clinical trials and oncology drug development is preferred.
