This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Supervise pharmacy operations teams, encompassing drug rebate invoicing, collections, claims review, grievances and appeals, and related activities.

• Track KPIs, SLAs, productivity metrics, and staffing levels to fulfill contractual obligations.

• Drive initiatives for process enhancement and operational efficiency.

• Recruit, onboard, and train new personnel for pharmacy operations.

• Evaluate and provide insights on monthly and quarterly operational reports.

• Oversee staff productivity and performance, including conducting performance reviews and evaluations.

• Ensure staff attendance and timekeeping are accurate and adhere to policy compliance.

• Mentor staff and facilitate skills development and career advancement.

• Verify that monthly and quarterly SLAs are precise and completed punctually.

• Maintain up-to-date pharmacy service policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with the account PBM Manager to revise staff performance metrics.

• Prepare and sustain operations documentation.

• Create management and client reports.

• Engage with subject matter experts on industry best practices, process enhancements, and customer service.

• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to attain operational goals.

• Participate in project work-plan activities and ensure adherence to audit control objectives.

• Lead or assist with special projects and ad hoc client requests.

• Cultivate a positive team atmosphere and exemplify leadership by setting a strong example.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or over 5 years of experience in PBM.

• Preferred: 5+ years of experience in managed care or Medicaid.

• Minimum of 10 years in managing or supervising staff while executing human resource functions.

• Proficient in workforce management (WFM) and productivity tools.

• Strong skills in MS Office Suite, Excel, and PDF Editing Software.

• Preferred: Experience with Medicaid pharmacy claims processing, prior authorization, and/or medical billing.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capable of clearly articulating expectations to the team and providing ongoing guidance and feedback.

• Outstanding organizational skills.

• Proficient in tracking and prioritizing operational tasks continuously.

• Strong leadership attributes to assist with staff training, feedback, and coaching.

• Ability to remain approachable while effectively guiding staff toward performance goals.

• Competent in multitasking, troubleshooting, and prioritizing various functions and responsibilities.
