This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +3 more states.
• Act as an instructor and subject matter authority on independent pharmacy operations and business strategies.
• Offer expert advice, insights, feedback, and specialized consultation to members of the business coaching team and clients.
• Collaborate with the Business Coaching Coordinator and leadership in business coaching to ensure effective customer coverage and communication.
• Build strong business relationships to enhance customer retention, engagement, and profitability.
• Implement complex processes and engage in client-facing situations to identify leverage points within pharmacies.
• Maintain and update coaching activities in the CRM system for precise tracking and reporting.
• Gather pharmacy data and prepare, format, and distribute reports.
• Align opportunities with customer needs, identify challenges, and support targeted solutions.
• Oversee programs, communicating program information, instructions, and objectives effectively.
• Analyze pharmacy operations and pinpoint weaknesses in fundamental functional areas.
• Evaluate customer needs and categorize pharmacies using customer profiles.
• Guide in-store implementations while collaborating with relevant personnel.
• Stay informed about the independent retail pharmacy market, industry trends, competitive intelligence, and customer challenges.
• Provide leadership with industry insights and recommendations regarding programs, policies, products, and pricing.
• Develop and implement innovative concepts while monitoring competitive activities.
• Represent business coaching programs and solutions at meetings and events.
• Undertake additional duties that support the Business Coaching program.
• Travel up to 75% or more, including overnight trips, and participate in conferences and trade conventions.
• Comprehensive training in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar fields, typically acquired through a four-year Bachelor’s Degree Program.
• At least seven (7) years of industry experience and/or progressively responsible experience directly related to the role.
• In-depth knowledge of the retail pharmacy industry, including current trends and customer challenges.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences.
• Ability to actively listen and persuade others with differing viewpoints.
• Advanced understanding of value, profit, and budgeting principles.
• Expertise in techniques to enhance the profitability of small businesses.
• Proven successful business strategies and a reputable image within the industry.
• Solid marketing skills.
• Competence in forecasting, goal setting, and training others.
• Familiarity with product and customer service standards for independent retail pharmacy businesses.
• Advanced analytical and probing capabilities.
• Proficiency in relevant computer programs, including Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional presentation abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% or more, including overnight trips, within the designated customer base and geographic territory, and attend conferences and trade conventions.
