Pharmacy Customer Associate I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Address basic inquiries from customers via phone and written communication regarding pharmacy retail and mail order prescriptions.

• Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with customers.

• Collaborate with various company departments to effectively manage and resolve customer requests in a timely manner.

• Offer claims, customer service, and/or membership assistance to subscribers, providers, group or benefit administrators, physician offices, third-party representatives, and other Blue Cross Plans.

• Perform research to deliver proactive and comprehensive solutions.

• Take ownership of service requests ensuring high-quality resolution and follow-through.

• Assist and advise customers on personal choices and decisions.

• Empower customers to become proficient and confident in utilizing available technology, tools, and resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior experience in an automated customer service setting, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Strongly preferred knowledge in healthcare, health insurance, or pharmacy.

• Experience in a call center environment is highly preferred.

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficient problem-solving abilities.

• Strong facilitation skills.

• Analytical skills.

• Availability to work shifts between 5:50 AM and 9 PM Central time.

• Willingness to work one or both weekend days as assigned.

• Must be able to attend mandatory in-person training sessions.

• Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location unless accommodations are granted as required by law.
