This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Optimize business potential for authorized Parkinson’s Franchise offerings
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Director for Parkinson’s and oversee a team of 6–8 Account Executives
• Cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships with Movement Disorder Specialists, Neurologists, Advanced Practice Providers, healthcare professionals, nurses, executives, department managers, and support personnel
• Enhance understanding of product advantages and drawbacks, as well as awareness of therapeutic gaps in line with approved guidelines
• Generate new business opportunities, extend existing accounts, optimize resource use, and boost sales to meet the designated product portfolio sales objectives
• Execute franchise goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics effectively
• Foster the development of franchise culture and collaborative business practices
• Recruit, coach, mentor, train, and nurture direct reports
• Ensure direct reports are held accountable for behaviors and expectations
• Manage strategic partnerships with leading Movement Disorder Centers and select accounts
• Develop, implement, and communicate strategic and tactical plans for targeted accounts
• Track and report on sales performance
• Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Utilize available resources and tools to support compliant selling strategies
• Represent AbbVie within the Parkinson’s and Neuroscience sectors among healthcare professionals and patient organizations
• Attend neurology society meetings, conferences, patient programs, support groups, and advocacy events, including evenings and weekends
• Stay updated on clinical, market, and payer developments concerning Parkinson’s disease
• Complete all required AbbVie training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Familiarity with applicable regulations and standards influencing business operations
• Capability to assess the business landscape and devise/implement strategies in response to market opportunities
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to acquire necessary HCIR credentials
• Background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses may be necessary
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Must fulfill safe driving criteria
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time
