This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Transform global medical strategies into practical programs, tools, and initiatives that promote portfolio expansion and market distinctiveness.
• Oversee short-, medium-, and long-range medical plans for the Companion Animal Pain portfolio.
• Collaborate with regional and country medical teams to support global medical objectives across various markets.
• Track the execution and impact of initiatives, identifying opportunities for enhancement and optimization.
• Assist in the global KOL engagement strategy and coordinate activities for scientific exchange.
• Organize and carry out advisory boards, expert consultations, and scientific engagement activities.
• Recognize emerging scientific trends, market demands, and customer insights.
• Create and present scientific messaging and medical content for international congresses and industry events.
• Represent Zoetis in scientific forums that engage customers.
• Maintain consistency and scientific integrity in external medical communications.
• Collect, synthesize, and convey customer insights and emerging medical requirements.
• Link global and local teams to ensure that market insights guide medical planning and execution.
• Collaborate with the Pain Brand Team and Global Marketing to synchronize medical and commercial efforts.
• Work with the Center of Excellence and above-market teams to develop customer-centric tools, programs, and marketing materials.
• Provide medical expertise for integrated brand planning and execution.
• Support omnichannel and digital customer engagement initiatives from a medical standpoint.
• Produce scientifically accurate medical content and technical communication materials.
• Direct medical training programs across global markets.
• Ensure that materials and activities adhere to scientific, regulatory, and ethical standards.
• Advocate for best practices and consistent scientific messaging across different regions.
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD or an equivalent veterinary qualification) is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in veterinary medical roles with direct customer engagement in the animal health sector.
• Strong grasp of Companion Animal pain management, covering clinical practice, customer requirements, and emerging scientific advancements.
• Proven experience in implementing medical strategies, programs, and initiatives across various markets or regions.
• Established ability to lead and coordinate intricate cross-functional projects within a global matrix environment.
• Experience working collaboratively with marketing, commercial, medical affairs, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Exceptional scientific communication skills, along with experience in developing and delivering medical presentations, training programs, educational materials, and customer-facing scientific content.
• Background in engaging with veterinary Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), specialists, academic institutions, and professional organizations.
• Skill in translating scientific data and medical insights into actionable customer value propositions.
• Experience in gathering, interpreting, and integrating customer and market insights into medical initiatives and execution plans.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and manage diverse functions, regions, and cultures.
• Strong project management and organizational capabilities; adept at handling multiple priorities and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced setting.
• Demonstrated track record of operational excellence, meticulous attention to detail, and effective execution of complex initiatives.
• Ability to lead and influence within a global matrix organization without direct authority.
• Capacity to convey complex scientific information in clear, practical, and customer-relevant insights.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management.
• Proven capability to build and influence relationships with veterinary Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and scientific stakeholders.
• Strong communication, presentation, and training skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
