This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.
• Offer expert advice and consultation to commercial clients regarding Export Finance, Export Payments, Document Verification, Letter of Credit Advising/Confirmation/Transfer, Collections, and Risk Participation.
• Provide guidance to the Product Development Team on Trade Finance operations in line with International Practices, ICC Publications, OPM, APPM, and local regulations.
• Ensure adherence to bank policies and procedures.
• Review and address customer complaints promptly to resolve issues.
• Ensure timely achievement of MBOs and compliance with SLAs.
• Exercise due diligence when reviewing applications, especially for priority clients, high-value transactions, and back-to-back or red clause letters of credit.
• Process transactions as per SOPs, OPMs, UCP, ISBP, and approved Product Programs, ensuring charge recovery aligns with guidelines.
• Conduct sanctions checks on relevant parties and perform TBML-related verifications.
• Manage documentation for Commodity Trade Operations.
• Guarantee that no reconciliation entries in Nostro or internal accounts remain unresolved on a daily basis.
• Facilitate cross-training for the team in at least two additional product areas.
• Manage customer expectations, generate innovative ideas, and lead automation initiatives.
• Conduct daily team meetings and collaborate to troubleshoot problems.
• Implement solutions promptly and collaborate with onshore units to ensure smooth client delivery.
• Efficiently and quickly address audit observations.
• Advise on actions regarding changes in legislation, ICC rules, government regulations, and bank policies that impact transactions.
• Take corrective and preventive measures based on customer complaints, operational errors, and quality/RCSA assessments.
• Suggest modifications to SOP, OPM, and ADM to enhance service levels while upholding controls.
• Propose training sessions and workshops to bridge knowledge gaps and foster ownership of resolutions.
• Promptly escalate errors, complaints, service defects, and issues, ensuring they are documented in the appropriate system.
• Bachelor's degree with a comprehensive understanding of Trade Finance products and practices.
• Certified in CDCS/CITF/CTFP.
• In-depth knowledge of Swift, Trade Finance, and Financial Operating Systems.
• General knowledge of banking operations.
• A minimum of 9-12 years of experience in Trade Finance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PPT).
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of performing under pressure, with exceptional organizational skills and a collaborative team spirit.
