Senior Manager, Office of the CSO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist GTM and Customer Service with security issues related to prospects, customers, and partners.

• Establish success criteria to support business objectives.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Security teams to shape the product roadmap according to customer requirements.

• Recruit, mentor, and maintain a top-tier team of security strategists.

• Cultivate a culture of excellence, innovation, and ongoing learning.

• Develop Gainsight’s security trusted-advisor function.

• Support enterprise sales initiatives.

• Clearly communicate Gainsight’s security stance to CISOs, CIOs, and senior executives.

• Collaborate with the Chief Security Officer to enhance the program.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Security Leadership.

• More than 7 years of background in compliance, security engineering, and application security.

• Demonstrated experience in supporting enterprise sales cycles or fulfilling a customer-facing advisory role.

• Proficient in effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical executive audiences.

• Strong skills in presentation, storytelling, and influence.

• Experience in managing a security team that supports GTM (preferred).

• Background in developing whitepapers and viewpoint content on contemporary security architectures and trends (preferred).

• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM (preferred).
