This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the Non-Funded Support Team and manage daily operations.
• Ensure that disposition requests and compliance support cases are reviewed and approved in a timely manner.
• Engage in the Risk Management lifecycle by creating and managing JIRA tickets.
• Conduct research, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and facilitate UAT and post-implementation validation testing.
• Supervise LOS pipelines, ensuring accuracy in disposition, appropriate folder placement, and prompt file disposition.
• Establish and maintain systems for managing ECOA compliance event timing and disposition.
• Act as the main point of contact for new product and LOS implementations, while also conducting compliance testing.
• Assist with audits, examinations, monitoring, and compliance inquiries related to ECOA, FCRA, and adverse actions.
• Compose audit narratives and generate regulatory compliance data sets.
• Verify that adverse action and incompleteness notices comply with regulatory standards.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on policies and procedures related to ECOA, FCRA, and adverse actions.
• Review and authorize disposition requests from sales teams.
• Manage NFST compliance support cases, including reactivations and file disposition challenges.
• Adapt to changing regulations, product implementations, and evolving compliance demands.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in the mortgage sector.
• A minimum of 2 years in a compliance and/or risk management role.
• At least 1 year of experience in team management, including reviewing and approving team outputs.
• Proficient in creating and analyzing data sets for audits and regulatory compliance.
• Experience as a key stakeholder during audits, examinations, and compliance inquiries.
• Familiarity with JIRA.
• Knowledge of ECOA, FCRA, adverse action regulations, and relevant policies and procedures.
• Understanding of applicable LOS, such as Encompass, NFTYDoor, Figure, and Quantum Reverse.
