This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.
• Direct the strategy, growth, and execution of the Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) partner segment throughout North America.
• Lead a team of partner development managers and work closely with key MSSP partners.
• Create, enhance, and implement the sales strategy and go-to-market model for the MSSP segment.
• Propel net new business and recurring managed service revenue growth.
• Guide the co-development of collaborative managed security offerings that address market challenges, partner capabilities, and strategic platform objectives.
• Manage executive relationship oversight and establish operational and governance rhythms with top MSSP partnerships.
• Recruit, hire, retain, and nurture a high-performing MSSP account management team.
• Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance evaluations, and career path discussions.
• Assist in shaping, negotiating, and finalizing complex security engagements.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Business Development, Services, Marketing, Legal, and Product leadership.
• Oversee territory planning, quota distribution, and investments in product, marketing, and enablement resources.
• Promote career development, engagement, results, and operational excellence.
• Demonstrated experience in direct people management and leading sales/partner development teams.
• Proven success in hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing talent.
• In-depth knowledge of the MSSP business model and managed security services, including SOC-as-a-Service, MDR, and XDR.
• Awareness of current trends in the cybersecurity market.
• Proven ability to meet and surpass revenue and pipeline targets in high-tech or cybersecurity settings.
• Outstanding skills in executive relationship management, complex deal structuring, and sales-cycle coaching.
• Capability to navigate Sales Ops, Marketing, Product, and Legal departments to secure resources and align strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong emotional intelligence (EQ).
• Proficiency in effectively leading a remote/hybrid team.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for partner engagements, executive meetings, and team alignment events.
