This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, education, motivation, and training to a team of sales professionals.
• Oversee Medicare sales initiatives in the Buffalo region.
• Address operational challenges and offer innovative solutions to enhance sales while adhering to CMS regulations.
• Build, nurture, and sustain relationships with Humana clients, internal and external business partners, and the local community.
• Engage in telephonic, virtual, and in-person communications with individuals and groups.
• Create marketing budgets and pinpoint branding opportunities.
• Meet team members and clients in person within the field.
• Participate in periodic appointments and events, which may include evenings and weekends.
• Travel to Humana offices for training or meetings as required.
• Must live in the Buffalo, NY area or be open to relocating.
• Active Health Insurance license is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Medicare sales or related fields is necessary.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time is essential.
• Experience in leading a sales team, training on effective sales techniques, delivering educational presentations, utilizing technological tools, and fostering relationships with communities and healthcare providers is required.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, various CRM systems, and capabilities of different iPhone apps.
• Demonstrated strong leadership and sales performance background.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience in community engagement/grassroots marketing for Medicare plans is preferred.
• A genuine passion for contributing to an organization that prioritizes enhancing consumer experiences.
• Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits, or higher as per state mandates.
• Active Life Insurance License is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Strong experience in the Medicare and health solutions sector is preferred.
• Project management experience or certification is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing an additional language without limitations or assistance is preferred.
• Must pass the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test if conversing with members in a language other than English.
• Must maintain a required internet speed of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload when working remotely.
• Must work from a designated area free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
• Attendance during the first five weeks of employment and training is mandatory.
