Senior Manager, Medicare Product Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Lead and nurture a team

• Foster cross-functional collaboration to support Medicare Advantage product and bidding strategies

• Act as a subject matter expert throughout the entire product lifecycle

• Assess product performance

• Perform competitive and strategic market analysis

• Create innovative product and benefit strategies that promote long-term growth and profitability

• Keep abreast of industry trends, economic factors affecting Medicare Advantage, and regulatory requirements

• Convert business strategy and market insights into product roadmaps, benefit modifications, and regional growth initiatives

• Supervise the execution and governance of the Medicare Advantage bidding process

• Collaborate with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Market teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience in health care, health insurance, or a strategic consulting environment OR 11 years of experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting

• A minimum of two years’ experience in managing and leading teams, which includes hiring, training staff, and overseeing a departmental budget

• Experience in managed care product development, benefits consulting, or project management

• Proven track record of working with corporate leadership and communicating across all organizational levels

• Ability to manage multiple complex priorities and maintain a heavy workload

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Health Administration

• Preferred: MBA or Master’s Degree

• Preferred: Experience within the health care industry

• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in Medicare Advantage Bid with knowledge of MA economics and bidding requirements

• Preferred: Strong analytical and strategic decision-making, as well as problem-solving skills

• Preferred: Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing stakeholder relationships

• Preferred: Comprehensive understanding of Medicare Advantage Star Ratings and quality programs

• Advanced proficiency in Excel

• Must be authorized to work in the US; sponsorship is not available
