Senior Manager, Labor Relations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement The Home Depot's labor relations strategy to maintain a union-free environment throughout the organization, particularly focusing on Temco locations.

• Address issues related to protected concerted activities, organized labor, and foster positive associate relations.

• Provide support, consultation, and guidance to management across all organizational levels.

• Create initiatives for positive associate relations, including union-free training, educational programs, and tools for assessing the work environment.

• Conduct both virtual and in-person training sessions at Temco.

• Troubleshoot and offer strategies to field business partners to uncover root causes, implement solutions, and mitigate vulnerability risks.

• Monitor and communicate updates on labor-relations case law and regulatory changes.

• Collaborate with field business partners on special projects, training and development, process improvements, organizational development, communications, and policy execution.

• Oversee union election campaigns under the supervision of the Director of Labor Relations.

• Report to the Senior Director of Labor Relations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field of study.

• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience.

• Experience in initiatives aimed at union avoidance and labor strategy.

• Proven experience in developing and delivering leadership and employee training on labor-related topics.

• Familiarity with NLRB election campaigns, including campaign communications, strategy, advocacy, opposition research, and project management.

• Demonstrated success in navigating a large, complex organizational structure.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A JD or Master's degree is preferred.

• Experience in supply chain and/or distribution is preferred.

• Familiarity with Teamsters and UFCW is preferred.
